Installation Engineer

Purpose of the role

To ensure the Detailed Engineering design is installable, safe and compatible with available offshore installation methods and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop installation engineering philosophy.
• Prepare installation methodologies.
• Perform installation analyses.
• Assess vessel and equipment requirements.
• Develop installation sequences.
• Review lifting and handling requirements.
• Coordinate offshore installation interfaces.
• Review temporary works.
• Support subsea installation engineering.
• Coordinate installation contractor inputs.
• Participate in constructability reviews.
• Provide offshore engineering support during installation.
