Lead Mechanical Engineer

Purpose of the role

To lead mechanical engineering activities associated with subsea and topside equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop mechanical design specifications.
• Prepare equipment datasheets and technical requisitions.
• Review mechanical equipment selections.
• Review vendor technical submissions.
• Coordinate mechanical interfaces.
• Review equipment layouts.
• Verify equipment design against project specifications.
• Support procurement and vendor inspections.
• Participate in FATs.
• Resolve mechanical technical queries.
• Provide engineering support during fabrication, installation and commissioning.
