Lead Process Engineer

Purpose of the role

To provide process engineering input to the Detailed Engineering phase and ensure that the process design meets production, safety and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process design basis.
• Review PFDs and P&IDs.
• Perform process calculations.
• Develop equipment datasheets.
• Conduct process simulations where required.
• Participate in HAZOP and design reviews.
• Define operating and process conditions.
• Review relief and depressurisation requirements.
• Coordinate process interfaces with mechanical, piping, instrumentation and safety disciplines.
• Review vendor process information.
• Support commissioning and start-up planning.
• Ensure process designs comply with applicable project and regulatory requirements.
