Lead Structural Engineer

Purpose of the role

To provide structural engineering leadership for subsea structures and offshore facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyse subsea structures.
• Develop structural design criteria.
• Perform structural calculations and analysis.
• Design frames, supports, foundations and protection structures.
• Review lifting and transportation arrangements.
• Perform fatigue and strength assessments.
• Review structural fabrication drawings.
• Coordinate structural interfaces with pipelines and subsea equipment.
• Support installation engineering.
• Review fabrication procedures.
• Participate in design reviews and constructability assessments.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable structural codes and client standards.
