Lead Subsea / Offshore Engineer

Purpose of the role

To provide specialist subsea engineering leadership for the development of subsea systems and associated offshore facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review subsea engineering philosophy.
• Coordinate subsea equipment interfaces.
• Review subsea layout and field architecture.
• Coordinate subsea structures, pipelines, umbilicals, risers and associated systems.
• Review subsea equipment specifications and technical requisitions.
• Support subsea equipment procurement.
• Review vendor drawings and technical documentation.
• Coordinate subsea design interfaces.
• Participate in constructability and installation reviews.
• Review installation methodologies.
• Support offshore installation engineering.
• Evaluate subsea technical risks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable project and industry standards.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation and commissioning.
