Project Engineering Manager / Lead Project Engineer

Purpose of the role

To act as the principal engineering interface between the Project Manager, discipline engineers, client, vendors and other project functions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities.
• Maintain the Engineering Deliverables Register.
• Monitor engineering progress against the project schedule.
• Coordinate technical queries and responses.
• Manage discipline interfaces.
• Review engineering deliverables before submission to the client.
• Coordinate design reviews.
• Track technical actions and close-out.
• Coordinate engineering inputs to procurement.
• Support management of technical changes.
• Ensure design development remains aligned with project requirements.
• Identify technical risks and escalate them appropriately.
• Coordinate vendor engineering documentation.
• Support fabrication and installation teams with engineering clarification.
