SURF / Riser Engineer

Purpose of the role

To provide specialist engineering for Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF).

Key responsibilities

• Develop riser and umbilical design basis.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis.
• Assess installation configurations.
• Perform fatigue and extreme environmental assessments.
• Coordinate riser interface requirements.
• Review umbilical configuration and termination requirements.
• Coordinate connection systems.
• Review vendor technical documentation.
• Support installation engineering.
• Participate in design verification and technical assurance.
• Provide engineering support during fabrication and offshore installation.
