Project Engineering Services Contract with Saudi Aramco

Project Description

During a 12-month contract with Wood for Saudi Aramco, we provided Project Engineering services across multiple key projects, including EPC support for the Jafurah Gas Processing Plant and Well Tie-ins, as well as FEED for the Jafurah Gas Plant Phase II and new NGL Fractionation Plant. Our role involved managing project scope, ensuring quality management systems, and overseeing technical engineering disciplines. We generated key engineering documents, resolved conflicts, drove the engineering team to meet milestones, and ensured compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

• Understood and managed the Technical Engineering Disciplines and associated Scope
• Ensured instructions were issued to allow work to progress and facilitates agreement between conflicting requirements
• Challenged working method, deliverables and ensures project team comply with project scope
• Developed and managed the engineering input to the project schedule and drives the Engineering Team to comply with the requirements, meet milestones and Key Performance Indicators
• Ensured that requirements for Design Verification are identified, scheduled and resourced
• Understood the project Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSES) issues and ensures these are handled correctly
• Identified risk and implements mitigations
